Panned Left and Right Episode 2- More Recording, Editing, Layering and Mixing

In episode 2 below, we take the viewer through some more of our sound recording processes and talk about how and why we captured these sounds the way we did. We also discuss the importance of gaining, editing and placing our sounds to match the video. It was a pain staking process that at one point, felt like there was no end.

A production technique used in our project multiple times was layering. In this video we discuss how beneficial the layering of sounds can be to create a fuller, plumper or totally different sound.

The crew also talk about the mixing phase of the project, applying reverb to certain elements to add depth and son on.
